Summary: Pavan Gupta has over 12 years experience in creating MarCom solutions. Gupta served as a visual designer/creative director roles for renowned advertising agencies serving international clients from the United Sates, Europe and Asia. Conceptualized, developed and designed all types of corporate messaging campaigns including identity packages, portals, websites, marketing collateral, print ads, annual reports, screen shots, direct mail and trade show graphics.

Extensive experience in UI/UX, multimedia and graphic design. Also had original artwork published in the Bharat Bhavan International Biennial of Prints and participated in national and international exhibitions, and received numerous awards.

Gupta holds a Bachelors in painting and a Masters in print making. Gupta has participated in many solo and group shows in India, USA and other international countries.

Gupta’s work has evolved dramatically over the years. He is a very versatile painter and a printmaker and has a large variety of works from realistic to abstract and symbolic art. Although he still prefers to work within the human figure, he has moved on from realistic figures to dynamic, figurative abstracts that reflect the natural colors and organic lines inspiring much of his work from real life and surrealistic desires. These abstract prints are capturing dynamic movement of the subject. The style mostly resembles to action or motion painting where artist freely lets go and unleashes his emotions and libido’s. He has worked on most of the mediums like: Oil/Acrylic on canvas, miniature paintings, water color compositions, etching/intaglio, lithograph, lino cut and wood cut etc.,

  • Gold medal for having secured first rank in the University (J. N. T. U College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad).
  • Highly Meritorious Student Scholarship for the year 1990 (Uncle Bapjee Memorial Trust, Hyderabad).
  • A.P. State Scholarship for the year 1991-93 (Telugu University, Hyderabad).
  • Research Grant Scholarship in Graphic Art for the year 1993-94 (Lalit Kala Academy, National Academy of Art, New Delhi).
  • Junior Research Fellowship in Visual Art for the year 1995-97 (Human Resource Development, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, New Delhi).
